Maoists to set up mechanism to run govt

KATHMANDU, - The major ally of the current CPN-UML led government, UCPN (Maoist) has decided on Monday to form a separate mechanism to run the Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal-led government.
"We have decided to set up a mechanism to run the government," said Maoist Vice Chairman Narayan Kaji Shrestha, emerging from the meeting of the Maoist office bearers held at the party headquarters in Parishdada today.
 The seven-point agreement signed between CPN-UML Chairman Khanal and Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Feb.3 has a clause states that a high level mechanism would be formed to run the government.
Similarly, the Maoists have also decided to hold talks with the prime minister in order to give full shape to the cabinet.
The Maoist party has also decided to bring in an advance budget. Prior to the meeting, the Maoist leaders held consultations with the economic experts close to the party.
The unified communist party decided to moibilise its new to-be-announced youth wing, 'Jana Swyamsevak Bureau' in development works, the Maoist vice chair added.
It has been learnt that the Maoist will announce the launch of the youth bureau on Monday in the Capital.
