NEW DELHI, - A group of 42 Nepalis who were stranded in strife-torn Libya have arrived here in Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi via Air India on Sunday.
They were airlifted by the Indian government on Saturday from Misrata of Libya.
The 42 Nepalis were rescued after they managed to come to the Libyan capital Tripoli safely from the third largest city Misrata.
New Delhi-based Nepal Embassy has managed to send them home from here.
Previously, two Nepalis were rescued by the Indian government on Friday.
Indian help came after Nepal government’s request to rescue its citizens stranded in war-torn Libya.
